Necklace of beads of many colours. A label, probably from the donor, reads 'Russian peasant' on one side and 'beads' on the other. One of the large beads is broken and part missing, which means the necklace would be unlikely to be of any use in display.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
