Wheatstone, Inventor, 20 Conduit St., Regent St., London.' 7.38" AF [across front?] x 9.88" long, stretched hexagon shape, flat thick ebony, some cracks, simple frets, bevelled edge. 52 keys: 26 each side. Domed nickel, bushed. Broad black leather straps with nickel screws. Seven-fold black leather bellows, four valve holes on each of the lower folds. Fish-tail shaped steel reeds riveted onto larger rectangular reed chambers or direct onto under action.
