necklet (neck ornament (personal adornment))

Seed necklace consisting of approximately a dozen strands of beads, each strand having alternating long grey (Job's tears) and round drak brown seeds threaded together. At one point the strands are bound together with a strip made of a tube of fabric, which has been resist dyed in a pattern with a natural reddish-brown dyestuff. Loops are approx 84mm long, so that if hung from the bound section the length is approx 42mm.
