Printed cotton 'Mammy' dress. Sleeveless. The fabric is a pale and light brown print with a larger pattern of pink ears of corn and sickles. The bodice is pleated at the back and decorated with broad cut work and dense chain stitch in pink thread in front.

This style of dress was provided for local girls by missionaries. The chain stitch decoration is a local technique.
