Two-handled deep dish, kalathos, Cypriot. Two horizontal handles lie on outside discreetly. One piece flaring vessel wide flat base. Smooth inner and exterior profiles. Interior decoration of black brown paint in concentric rings and bands – largely black appearance. Exterior – black lip rim, then reserve band to base of black painted handles. This holds three vertical zig in three vertical bands per side motif. Below a thick and thin and thick black brown bands of paint. Base undecorated. Some paint added, for example in zig zag panels, also herringbone and dot motif also mending with glue and some black paint on base. Diameter at mouth 167 mm, diameter at base, 73 mm, height 68 mm.
