Apulian Xenon kylix, small shallow cup, made of pinkish clay. It has a thick, low foot with an exterior vertical profile in several degrees. The foot has an angular junction to the bowl. The cup has a smooth, curved exterior profile, and an inner profile with a ridge. The two horizontal handles are slightly warped. The exterior decoration consists of glossy black paint with painted red decoration of laurel sprigs. The interior decoration consists of black paint over the entire surface, with a central impression of four garlanded palmettes. The impression has been made into a matt pinkish-red painted bird motif. Towards the lip, red laurel foliage encircles the tondo.
