Wooden ladle or measure made from a single piece of wood with a deep round bowl and a flat bottom. The handle has a distinctive hook shape and is eight-sided in cross-section. The rim of the bowl is decorated with three incised lines and there are two flat depressions on either side of the outside of the bowl. The underneath is inscribed with S.A. Jones / Dec. 13th 1883 / E.
