Two dolls that are a mother holding a child in her arms. Both have brown bisque heads and black hair, probably synthetic . The bodies of the dolls are made of rag and straw with clothing consisting of a wrap around cloth in cotton and felt. Both dolls are wrapped in two blankets the inner is red, green and white, and the outer blanket is orange and black. The mother wears a string of beads and hide used as a necklace, originally this may have been a headband. The mother has suede covered feet with green felt around the calves. The mother's body is broken and has "Germany" printed across the chest.
