Netsuke in the form of a carved study of a rabbit sitting on its haunches, with long ears lying flat against its back and its head turned a little to its right. The eyes are shiny and black. The ivory is shiny and dark and covered with small black stipples. It is not made of ivory, but possibly polished whale bone.
