A piece of cut-pile raffia cloth made in two sections. Another stitch has been applied to the central panel, forming a pattern of faded black interlinked diamonds on an undyed, cut-pile ground. Along both selvedges and at one end is a border pattern of faded black and undyed triangles. Another overstitch has been used to divide the two patterns and disguise the join of the two fabrics.
