Brass libation ewer. Base with stylised lotus petals in relief tapers upwards towards smooth body which curves slightly out to almost horizontal shoulder. From this rises at the centre a neck with two raised rings, the lower wider than the upper. The neck is topped by a large round hollow cap with flat sides, almost vertical, and a falt upper surface. The sides are covered with raised floral decorative motifs, the top surface with an open lotus blossom at the centre of which is the orifice. Upper and lower rims of the cap each surrounded by a beaded band. Curved tapering spout extends upwards from body. Silver cover and semi-precious stone. Rim of spout surrounded by beaded band. Where spout meets body it is covered with incised Tibetan script. 155h x 145w x 100d.
