A small bull figurine with a prominent hump, in coarse red terracotta, horns damaged at the ends, but the whole otherwise intact. Findspot unknown, no label on the object. Early Historic Period, early centuries, though this kind of bull figure is known virtually throughout the archaeology of ancient South Asia. Archaeological context: presumably unstratified and probably from a surface collection, though pl see the remarks in entry 18. Given presumably by Col D H Gordon (1952/3).
