Rectangular amulet container, ga'u, with applied metal decoration in floral deisgns and inlaid with turquoise. There are two decorative loops for suspension at the top and two curved sections of claw attached to bottom. Seven sets of bells, one set attached to each side loop, two from below each claw section and one from a loop between them.
The tiger claw in this object shows Indian influence, whilst the use of turquoise is Tibetan. This object may well be from the border areas, Sikkim? Himachal Pradesh? It looks more Indian than Tibetan.
