Pipe with a wooden stem that still has the bark. The mouthpiece is shaped, of dark horn. The bowl is moulded white clay with lines evident where the parts were joined. The bowl is shaped like a head with a turban and a beard. The beard, facial features and turban are decorated with coloured glaze.There are moulded inscriptions over the pipe bowl suggesting that the pipe represents Jacob. The pipe bowl and mouth piece have a piece of green, string knotted around them.
