Harpoon formed of four long lengths of wood that are blunt at one end and pointed at the other. At the blunt ends are encased in wood and bound with plant fibre that is coated in a reddish pigment. Below this bound section is a band of white pigment, then reddish pigment before a second band of white. The pointed end of the harpoon has barbs of animal material bound to the wood with plant fibre and resin.
