Left end panel of an eight-panel folding screen, with a dark wooden frame and decorative procelain tiles inset. The panel stands on two feet, and has a scrolled porcelain apron decorated in underglaze blue with dragon scrolls. Three tiles are set horizontally, with underglaze blue decoration of bat (fu) and musical stone chime (qing), which form a pun for happiness and celebration, and flanked by two lotus blossom. Two vertical tiles are set in the upper section. The left one is decorated in blue and white floral scrolls, while the right one is painted in overglaze polychrome enamel with an official standing by a moon gate and a poem inscribed above. One overglazed enamel painted tile is set in the lower section, depicting Lan Caihe, one of the Eight Daoist Immortals, sitting by rocks and underneath a tree in a terraced garden, beside them is their emblem, a flower-basket.
