Wooden candlestick, with a flat circular base, thin lathed neck, and cylindrical top. The wood is lacquered in gold colouring, with thick bands of painted red detail at sections throughout the object on the neck, base and top. There are also thin bands of silver metal inlayed into the wood at similar intervals to the painted red sections. The cylindrical candle holder at the top is cavernous, with a circular stand for the candle, and a gully to collect and dripping wax.
