The bottom part of the wooden case for a bronze mirror. It has a circular shape with an integral rectangular projection for the handle. The case is covered in black lacquer all over, and is sprayed with roughly circular patches of gold lacquer on the inside.
There is a cream, rectangular label with the mirror and case, which reads: 'N/N. / Asia / Japan'.
