Long rectangular tent hanging. The textile is constructed from a main embroidered panel surrounded by an embroidered blue border along three sides. At the top a strip of cream cotton textile has been attached for hanging. The ground of the main panel is a red piece woollen cloth. The emboidery is done in couched gold-coloured metal-wrapped thread and blue, green, white and yellow silk threads. The embroidery consists of 3 lion-dogs, surrounded by floral motifs and flowering branches. Both borders consist of blue-black silk satin. The embroidered border contains floral motifs and butterflies in white and blue.
