Taxidermy case of adult male, adult female, one female pied variety and one male buff variety of Dunnock. According to Edward Hart, writing on 7 April 1927, 'Top left (no 1): pied variety, female, November 1869; bottom left (no 2): adult male, September 28th 1887; top right (no 3): adult female, June 15th 1887; bottom right (no 4): buff variety, male, December 24th 1895; nest and five eggs. Obtained by me in various gardens in Chrstchurch. Sexes differ; summer and winter plumage differ. Mounted by me'.
