According to Edward Hart, writing on 30 April 1927, 'Top left (no 1): immature male, September 29th 1916; middle (no 2): immature male, September 29th 1916; right (no 3): immature female, September 29th 1916. Shot by me on Christchurch Meadows. Evidently of one brood. Mounted by me'.
