Taxidermy case of adult male Pine Grosbeak. According to Edward Hart, writing on 6 April 1927, '(No 1): adult male. Formerly in the possession of the late H. Treasure Jenkins, who told me it was killed in the neighbourhood of the New Forest many years ago. I purchased it at the sale of his effects April 1876. Sexes differ, summer and winter plumage differ. Preserved by Barron (taxidermist)'.
