Taxidermy case of cream coloured variety of Eurasian Bittern. According to Edward Hart, writing on 27 April 1927, '(No 1): Cream coloured variety. This very beautiful specimen is supposed to be the only known variety of this species in the world. I had known of this bird being in the neighbourhood for some time, but not until January 1906 had I the gratification of adding it to my collection. Shot by M. Wagg at Sopley Mark, Nr Christchurch'.
