Cranium, mandible and skeleton of Common Shrew (Sorex araneus). Found in a wine bottle with 18mm neck, 50 yards from the road in a hedge, Merstham, Surrey. Grid Reference TQ 306 537. The specimen had black fur before it was skeletonised.
