Wheatstone, Inventor, 20 Conduit St., Regent St., London.' 6.19" diameter rosewood ends with simple fretwork and pine backing with bevelled edge. 48 ivory buttons, black accidentals, stamped. Later brown leather straps with nickel or brass screws. Four-fold green leather bellows with gold star papers. Round-end brass reeds with circular paper reed pan label stamped 'Wheatstone & Co.'.
