Oval paper label: 'Lachenal & Co, Patent Concertina Manufacturer, London.' 6.25" diameter flat, fine amboyna ends, simple frets, with floral brass corner inlays, bevelled to reveal ebony of sides, silvery muslin backing. 48 keys: 24 each side, silver capped nickel, bushed. Gilt embossed brown leather straps with nickel screws. Five-fold brown leather bellows, fully gilt embossed with green/gold papers. Round-end steel reeds, sunken pan hole, circular pan label: 'Lachenal & Co., 8 Lit James St, Grays Inn Rd, London.'
