Anglo-German system. Serial number 26575. Oval paper label: 'G Jones, patent concertina manufacturer, 350 Commercial Road East.' 6.25" diameter thick flat mahogany ends, crude frets, red leather backing, right-hand stamped 'GJ Steel Reeds.' 27 keys: 13 each side + 1 air, broad domed bone in the 'two and a half row' layout. Leather hand straps on mahogany bars, right-hand stamped: 'Screwed Notes Defiance, GJ, London Make.' Five-fold black leather bellows with gold star papers. Round-end brass reeds.
