village woman string puppet

A string puppet of a village woman from Soma. Three paired strings are attached, one to the front of the body, one to the hands and the other to the head and the back. The puppet has a red costume with a hood and cloak and grey skirt. The cloak is edged with a band decorated with metal coloured threads. Purple pigmented wool are wrapped around the wrists and neck.
