Correspondence between Reginald Kell and Eric McGavin

Items 573-575 are letters from Reginald Kell, clarinetist, to Eric McGavin. Contents are mostly of a personal nature discussing family, music and travels in the USA and Canada and between North America and Great Britain. Item 576 is a copy of a letter from Eric McGavin to Reginald and Diana Kell where he discusses his work in the music education department at Boosey and Hawkes and his work on the initial stages of a new instrument at the factory.

Note: Letter 648 dated 2 November 1968 was found elsewhere in loose documents in the McGavin collection and was added to this file.
