A red rook made of carved ivory and stained a pinkish-red, supported on a pedestal with a circular base and revolving concentric ball in the mid-section. The rook is in the form of an elephant, with a flat side, that has a decorative carving depicted a intricate textile. On the top of the elephant is a seated figure with crossed arms and a cylindrical tower with a flag coming out the top. There is some fading of the pigment on the tower.
