The ownership of this object was transferred to the Waumungu community in September 2024.
Quartzite-bladed scarification knife, with a wooden handle that is painted. The handle is attached to the blade with gum. The sheath is made of wood, wrapped with string, and covered with white pigment, with a band of red and black decoration. There is a small tuft of feathers at the narrow end.
