cinnamon scraper

Cinnamon scraper, adze-shaped head with engraved decorations. This is attached to a long, light wood handle which is roughly round in cross section for half of its length. It then has a section (around a quarter of the overall length) which is rectangular in cross-section and has diagonal incised lined on the front of the handle. The final quarter of the handle has been carved into a human figure with slightly bent knees. There is a loop of nylon tied to the waist of the figure, perhaps for hanging the spoon in an old display.
