Pair of babies' shoes with pink uppers and embroidered on sides with rose buds and other flowers. On the toes is a tiger's face with embroidered eyes, eyebrows and nose and a moustache made of silk threads. Face is outlined with applied cloth and the facings of the inside are similar. Soles and heels in printed cloth with water lily design. The face on the toe is said to watch out so that the baby does not trip or walk into danger.

On the forehead of the animal face the Chinese character 'wang', meaning king, is embroidered between eyes. This animal design of the shoes is therefore a tiger, as the tiger is called the king of beasts in China. See Garrett, V. M., 1997. A collector's guide to Chinese dress accessories. p. 151 - 154
