Hand held mirror. Circular brass plate, polished on one side. It is larger [than 6.12.65/400], has a cast design involving waves, chi-dori birds (plovers) and an inscription: 'Chi-dori' (this bird is a symbol of happiness); 'tenka-ichi' (which means a person to admire) and 'Fujiwara Masashige', the name of a person.
