Long rectangular sheath, made of two pieces of wood, bound in seven places at regular intervals with cane strips to leave a triangular-section shaped sheath, the whole lacquered in red and black bands between each binding. A cord loop bound on near the top, with a length frayed to provide a hanging sheath.
