Red earthenware tea caddy with recessed base, curved sides, broad shoulder and short neck tapered to mouthrim. It is covered with a flat, circular lid, which has chipped rim; decorated with 7 stamped 'shou' (longevity) characters on top surface. A band of flower petals are engraved above the shoulder.
