Part of a carved temple archway, made from teak wood. A carved wooden pillar, square in cross section at the top and bottom section, with a cylindrical central section. The cylindrical section is carved throughout with vertical lines of flower designs and peacock feathers. At the top, one face which faces outwards, is intricately carved. The one to the right of this has a vertical slot cut into it for a panel to slot into. This is marked ‘LXXVIII’ (This connects to part 18). The one to the left is plain. The one at the back, has two batons into which a panel slots, this is marked ‘D3’ (This connects to part 32). A label with this part is marked ‘Back 6’. This column has warped and is now twisted.
