Dish cover with a rim made of cane, supporting a dome of leaf strips stitched together. The top of the dome is covered with a blue or grey textile, and there is a central decorative panel of gold-coloured material, which is badly corroded. The cover is decorated all over with a shells, which have been stitched onto the dome in clusters to form a pattern.
