One of a pair of carved wooden images of Vishnu for shrine, with four arms. The image is covered with sheets of copper attached with small rivets. He wears a crown. In the upper right hand he carries the discus (chakra) and in the upper left hand a conch shell (shankha). His right lower arm is raised to his waist and clutches a lotus in bud. His left lower arm holds a club (gada) which hangs down, wider at the base and tapering towards the hand, and which does not extend to the base. Left leg bent at the knee in front of right leg, raised sandals on both feet, with sole visible on left sandal. The body parts are of copper, clothing and other accoutrements of brass.
