cup (food service)

A coconut cup cut from the upper half of a nut which is pierced through the tip to permit the addition of a suspension cord. This is now absent. Around the mouth of the cup are three rows of decoration; nearest the mouth a set of isosceles triangles above which are a row of X motifs. The next row up are stylised frigate birds and dogs seen both from below and in profile.
