Slashing sword with a long, narrow, slightly iron curved blade, backed on one side and ground to an edge on the other. The sword has an ivory handle, bound with copper alloy bands.
This sword was taken during the Chitral relief of 1895 by Brigade Major Alan Coddington Batten of the Punjab Cavalry.
