Rice knife made of metal and wood. Padi knife. Blade holder a flat piece of wood with wide straight top edge and sides angled inwards and slightly curved towards curved iron blade set in lower edge. Bamboo cross-piece fixed with a wooden pin inserted through hole in top of blade-holder. Cross-piece has had longitudinal section cut from it so that the end furthest from the blade tapers to a sharp point.
