pipe (narcotics & intoxicants: smoking)

A pipe in three sections that is made of brass. The pipe bowl has a long connection and the bowl is conical and the heel curves down. The bowl is lined with pottery. The bowl and the middle stem section are ornamented in relief with an "s" design, with a lizard or crocodile on bowl. The middle section of pipe has a buldge and is decorated. The end piece of the stem is plan apart from a raised band just before the tapering mouthpiece. The mouthpiece and bowl sections have pieces of cylindrical wood attached that the central section connects onto.
