A shallow, semi-spherical food cover made from dyed leaf. There is a bright pink outer layer and an undyed inner layer. The leaves are stitched together with red thread. There are zig-zag patterns in folded green-dyed leaf, just underneath the rim. The rim itself is strengthened possibly with cane and covered with white cotton. The top of the cover has a padded silk decoration, in green with gold edging on a pink background. Label: one small price tag, handwritten and printed.
