Polyphonia (No 6_G), chromatic harmonica in G. Two chromatic octaves of note names are inscribed on the top cover plate, from G# to F# on one line, and from G to G on the line below. Inscribed and stamped on the bottom cover plate: 'POLYPHONIA/TRADE MARK' (with trade mark and four prize symbols for trade exhibitions)/'No 5/MADE IN M. HOHNER GERMANY'. Steel cover plates, wooden comb. 25 double holes, 50 reeds. This two octave instrument has the actual pitch (G3-G6) range of the trumpet, clarinet, etc. The paired vertical holes are the same pitch, top horizontal row exhaled, bottom row inhaled. Written from G4-G6. The 1st paired holes on left (lowest G).
