Chromatica (263) polyphonia harmonica. 70 holes, unisonoric. Inscribed and stamped on the top cover plate: 'M.HOHNER'S CHROMATÍCA NO 263'(with trade mark symbols and four prize symbols for trade exhibitions in 1927, 1926, 1937 and 1893)/'G G# A Bb B C C# D D# E F F# G G# A Bb B C C# D D# E F F# G G# A Bb B C C# D D# E F' (all note names in circles). The bottom cover plate has the same inscription, but 'MADE IN GERMANY H. HOHNER FABRIQUE EN ALLEMAGNE' replaces the note names. Steel cover plates, wooden comb. A blow-draw instrument, with identical pitches in each vertical pair of holes. In the paired vertical holes, one hole is blow, the other is draw.
