Blanket, pua pilih, woven with continuous supplementary weft forming a decorative background to the main weave. Single panel of tabby woven cream cotton cloth, the main design field divided into four elongated areas by four serpent-like motifs which zig zag along the cloth with black and red striped heads at one end and forked tails at the other. Between these are many smaller motifs, mostly depicting human or frog-like figures, with some bird motifs and other smaller motifs, particularly towards the tail end of the cloth, which are suggestive of simple flying insects. At each end is a band of more geometric designs, that at the head end less wide than that at the tail end. At each end the warp ends have been twined in groups to form a neat fringe, knotted at the ends. Undup Iban, Sarawak.
