Bark cloth beater formed of a length of bamboo bent right back on itself, the two ends attached together by a strip of rattan, with similar attachments at two further points along the length. Where the bamboo curves right round, a flat rectangle of stone has been inserted, secured by grooves carved along its sides so that the bamboo sits in them, the surfaces on each side with carved grooves which are set at a diagonal on one side and parallel to the beater's frame on the other. This stone piece is the head of the beater. At the other end, which acts as the handle, a length of bamboo, also with grooves for securing, has been set between the two bamboo lengths forming the beater's frame.
this may be the third or fourth in the sequence.
