Hen's egg decorated for Easter with appplied coloured wax over a design outlined in black. An oval panel on each side with a design of three stems of flowers in various colours tied with a bow beneath, these two panels separated by three bands running along the middle of the length of the egg. The central band a grid of squares, some filled in to form a pattern of green, black and yellow. The two bands to either side have a diagonal lattice pattern, some filled with red.

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
