Left sock from a pair of hand-knitted woollen socks, mostly in wide ribbing, chiefly of deep mulberry-coloured wool, with narrow horizontal blue stripes at regular intervals from the ankle upwards. The foot is knitted in plain deep mulberry, the sole in narrow ribbing. A long cord is attached at the top of each sock, of twined mulberry and blue yarns, for securing round the leg.
